Outreach

Outreach is and has been a fundamental part of the fabric of Heritage Family Church. We received our commission by Jesus Christ himself in Matthew the 28th chapter. Evangelism has been woven into our DNA through the teaching of the word of God by a Pastor with a vision for this city! We use many different avenues to reach our community and beyond, for example:

• Prison Ministry: We have been going into the Kansas Correctional facilities for over a quarter century. We have seen great results through this endeavor. God has changed lives and numerous individuals have been touched by the prison ministry over the years.

• Home Bible Studies: We use this venue as a one-on-one opportunity to teach the Word of the Lord to a hungry heart.

• Elder Care Home Bible Studies: We go into elder care homes to bring the word of the Lord to those who may not be able to attend the home church regular due to mobility or health concerns. Everyone deserves to hear the gospel!

• Homeless Ministry: We teach a weekly Bible study in the heart of the homeless population in downtown Wichita.

• Outreach Posts: The Outreach post is a location that we have procured in the neighborhoods of our community. These posts allow us to reach some who may not have the means or will to travel across town to the home church. We will bring the gospel to you! We have been at 7 different locations since we began this outreach, There are two currently operating: one is on West Central in Wichita and one is in El Dorado Kansas.

• Door Knocking: The church collectively meets twice a month on Saturdays and knocks doors throughout the neighborhoods of our community.

• Foreign missions: We support different works around the globe through finances and prayer.

• New Converts Class: This setting is available to disciple a new convert in doctrinal and biblical understanding using provided curriculum in a group setting. This group meets every Sunday before Worship Service begins.
